I completed the basic and intermediate studies in psychology at the Open University of the University of Helsinki between 2013 and 2015. These studies provided me with a broad perspective on psychology as a scientific discipline and, upon completion, qualified me to teach psychology in Finland as a second teaching subject. At the time, I also considered continuing my studies in psychology as a major student and even contemplated studying abroad. However, I later decided to combine my studies in management and psychology into a single degree by pursuing a Master of Administrative Sciences with a major in the leadership psychology at the University of Lapland.
My psychology studies have been highly beneficial in my work as a teacher of Finnish language, communication and interaction. A broad understanding of human learning provides an excellent foundation for teaching. Later, I have also had the opportunity to teach courses such as sports and exercise psychology at Lapland University of Applied Sciences in Rovaniemi.
