Hello! I am Ville

I am Ville Kilpiä (born 1976), a professional of teaching, education, leadership and communications from Helsinki, Finland. My education is Master of Arts, Vocational Teacher and Sports Instructor.

Since 2015 I have worked as a vocational teacher at the Helsinki Business College. Before working as a teacher I worked many years in the field of enterprise communication, and in the beginning of my working career I worked many years as a professional tennis coach.

My Key Values as an Employee

For me inspiration means being interested in and inspired by so many things. Social questions, leadership and management, people, environment, sport… Actually in my opinion everything starts with getting inspired and interested. Sometimes getting inspired may mean making mistakes and false decisions. But at the same time we should remember, that if we never make mistakes, we hardly do anything else, either.

We live in the globalizing world. International contacts and networks are very important to all of us. I love travelling and seeing different cultures and lifestyles. Hopefully I’ll have a chance to work in an international organization and environment in the future.

I boost intelligence when working as a teacher and educating myself continuously. I want to find new and intelligent ways of working. Find my own way of life, and help other people in finding theirs.

Other Important Life Values

Healthy and sporty lifestyle plays an important role in my life. I have also worked for these issues during my working career.

Equality means equal possibilities to create our future as we want it to be. Education is one important way to promote equality in all societies. I also say definite no to racism and all kinds of harassment.

Responsibility is necessary especially when working with young people, but it is important otherwise, too. Carrying responsibility is very natural for me.

Environmental awareness is one big issue in my life. I want to do all I can to help us all in saving our globe for next generations.
