This summer I made my comeback to tennis coaching. I work for my former full-time employer Grani Tennis in Kauniainen, Finland. Feedback from my players has been excellent, and I think it would be very nice to keep coaching tennis on my holidays in the future. Well, time shows how it goes.
I have plenty of experience working as a tennis teacher and coach. In 1999–2012 I worked as a tennis course teacher at the Sport Institute of Finland in Vierumäki, and during these years I met hundreds and hundreds of tennis players – and helped them in improving their game. In 2001–2004 I worked as the Head Coach of Grani Tennis in Kauniainen. I mainly worked with competitive young players, who won several medals in Finnish Championships during these years. Since then I have had my own tennis school in Helsinki 2004–2013. I have worked with high level competitive players as well as total beginners. And from young children to aged players. At my best I played competitive tennis in the Finnish A Class, which is the highest national level in Finland. My education in the field of sport is Sports Instructor 1998–2001 and in the field of tennis coaching Top Tennis Coach 2003–2004, which was the highest level coaching education of the Finnish Tennis Association.
